For us, sustainability is not a fashion
We started adding styles made from recycled materials to our collection as early as 2019 and have been constantly expanding this topic ever since. Today, sustainable styles make up around 80% of the models at No.1 Como. Our collection includes fillings made from recycled PET bottles from Thermore®, as well as products that are certified according to the bluesign® sustainability standard and thus guarantee chemical safety.
From the autumn / winter collection 2021 on, there will be our plastic bottle hangtag on certain items, which will indicate that these items even have recycled outer fabrics.
Of course, we are already working flat out on certification according to the Global Recycling Standard (GRS) for parts of our collection. For us, sustainability is not just a question of recycling, but also includes the search for alternatives to filling with real animal down and using real fur.
As a result, the proportion of animal ingredients in our collections is falling continuously.
At No.1 Como there won't be a single style from the summer collection 2022 that has a down filling or real animal fur.
